Overview

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a Coordiantor, Shop Bardo to oversee the retail shop and retail operations at Hotel Bardo Savannah. This warm, dynamic and organized individual will be the a “culture setter” – managing our retail experience by driving sales, the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and flawlessly representing the Bardo brand to our guests and club members. This position reports to the Director of Operations and is based in Savannah, Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Run shop operations during operating hours
  • Own Shop Bardo inventory management in collaboration with the Finance, Operations and Brand teams, including sales reports
  • Partner with the Brand team to keep Shop Bardo on-strategy, executing in-shop events, new product launches and collaborations
  • Ensure shop merchandising follows the shop’s visual merchandising guide, brand standards and curation
  • Maintain store condition, ensuring pricing, stock and signage consistent and correct
  • Assist with shop marketing strategy and execution in partnership with Brand team
  • Establishing a regular client base and ensure strong, long-lasting, relationships with customers, providing support to other team members to ensure all sales opportunities are optimized
  • Lead monthly retail meetings with the General Manager, Director of Operations and Brand teams to ensure a strong relationship and knowledge of our events and products
  • Deal with issues that arise from your team or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.) in a professional manner
  • Ensuring that the Shop Bardo brand image and voice is always projected throughout the shop and resort grounds
  • Ensure Retail Operations Guide is well-maintained and upheld

Qualifications

  • Comfortability in CRM and inventory management platforms (i.e. Revinate, Yellowdog)
  • Proficient in the English language in reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Canva, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred
  • Must be able to cross-train in other resort related areas
  • Engaging interpersonal skills to represent Hotel Bardo Savannah to guests, members, and partners
  • Proven leadership skills in supporting internal stakeholders to consistently attain departmental and organization effectiveness
  • Ability to work as an independent contributor and as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage numerous priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Confident, collaborative and with a point of view
